What does it take to be a top-tier barbershop? We have our ideas. Here in the San Bernardino area, where we operate our local cutting and styling shops, we are known by a loyal cadre of customers, and we get more regulars all the time, because of how we approach hair! We’re not your average shop – and it shows in what we do every day. 

The Dream

For a long time, our founders were excited about the barbershop business. Part of it is something that you learn as a kid – the neat visual components of the barbershop – the barber pole and the chairs and mirrors and everything else. Then there are the smells of the various aftershaves and cleaners and everything else. Also, remember those traditional sanitizing canisters with the combs and brushes? All of that makes an impression on a kid. It did on us, back in the day. 

Some of those hallmarks of the barbering industry are now at least partially obsolete, and you might not see them much around anymore. We wanted to help create that same old-time grand visual impression in a modern way, and that’s partly what drove our business model as we designed our shops. 

Making That Dream Reality

Since 2013, we’ve been active in building our vision and attracting customers. Our Fontana and Rialto locations reflect that excitement and philosophy of building a vibrant business, not just a mediocre, cookie-cutter franchise. We are our own brand, and when you stand out in the crowd, you tend to feel better about all of the work that you put into running a business. Our employees can feel it, too, and you will when you walk in the door. 

Passion for Barbering

Whatever you’re doing, you should have a passion for it. It shouldn’t just be the day in day out, get by with what you can.

Take acclaimed chef Gordon Ramsay and his business. For years, this guy has rescued all sorts of culinary businesses all around the country. He saved dozens of restaurants, and a crucial part of that message is straightforward – having a passion for what you do and putting that to work. There’s just no substitute for that!
